The only difference betweenA1 and A2 beta caseins are the amino acids at position 67.
The outcome of all this is that digestion of A1 beta-casein can produce a peptide of a string of seven amino acids called beta-casomorphin-7 (BCM 7). And this BCM7 has opioid (narcotic) properties. Cardiac disease, schizophrenia, SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) in common among human beings.
